a new development because of tailwind!

Last night, while watching TV, my arm was able to bend at the elbow fairly regularly. This is something new. My brain surgeon told me that my arm recovery would start at the shoulder, move down to the elbow, then go to the wrist, then fingers. Therefore, this new movement in the elbow is encouraging. The shoulder movement for me has been consistent, since first starting exercises with the tailwind months ago. Sincerely, Shary

It was interesting about what you hd say about Trailwind. Most people would likely say that I have had a stroke and the buck stops here. My life has been completed. But not me. I am 58 years old and I have not given up. My stroke I have had for eight years. This does not take away from the fact that I have Cerebral Palsy, curvature of the spine, and I am in a wheelchair. But I will be darned if I will give up! I did not swear although I wanted to. It is a very difficult fight. Eight years ago I was a lucky swimmer at the University of Michigan in Flint three days week.. I do say that I am lucky because most of the people with my handicap can not swim. If you want prof that exercising does work I will have to tell you about the fact that I was in an apartment called Taeken’s Terrace in Davison and then was transferred to Suncrest in Lapeer in Michigan. Both residence were fine to live in. But is very rare. If I did not say when I was in Taeken’s Terrace although I did take therapy myself it was not until I had transferred to Suncrest in Lapeer what I had a true increase in my ability. Suncrest has a professional therapy staff. Suncrest is in Lapeer Michigan. Each day while I was in Taekens Terrace I have given myself an hour of therapy. This is where I had no results. They had no therapy at Taekens Terrace. So if you had a stroke do not give up the ship. This also includes the problem I have with my right hand. I have a full feeling in my hand but I have a difficulty using it. The therapy department is worth my effort. But I am not finished with my success! It ay most likely take time to reduce the fact that you had a stroke! This is what I do wish! Get involved in a true therapy department. Do not try and do it yourself. It has taken me time three hours to tell you this. I had typed it on a computer before hand. With my left hand alone. It is important that you do not give up the fight! In the first year I thought that my life was over I not only have had a stroke but I am also handicap. To add in this article-I have switched from my manual to my electric wheelchair. With the manuel I will operate from 8 AM to 1 PM. This is quite a battle to get my right arm moving again the way it use to. Success is going to be mine, with help from the therapist at Suncrest! This is a battle I will win! This also includes the problem I have with my right hand. I have a full feeling in my hand but I have a difficulty using it. The therapy department has had there fill with me. But I am not finished!
The therapist do not hve much hope for me but I am on Medicaid whic I believe will not cover the device Trailwind. Nore do they have the device. Would you give an idea of the price? There is much more moviment that i have n my arm. My web address is mike_dllng@yahoo.com
